According to rumours, Erik ten Hag wants to bring Ajax winger Antony to Manchester United if he is chosen manager at Old Trafford.
According to The Telegraph, Ten Hag, who is one of the frontrunners for the vacant United managerial position, is considering making the 22-year-old Brazilian one of his first signings.
Following a succession of strong performances for the Dutch side this season, Antony has attracted the attention of several prominent European clubs.
The Brazilian, who has garnered eight caps for his country, has also been linked with Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
United are looking for forwards as striker Edinson Cavani is expected to leave in the summer, while Cristiano Ronaldo and Anthony Martial's futures remain uncertain.
Marcus Rashford has also had a difficult season at Old Trafford, with his contract expiring at the end of the season.
Antony has 12 goals and 10 assists in 33 games for Ajax this season, predominantly as a right winger. In 2020, he signed a €15.5 million contract with Ajax from Sao Paulo.
Antony has been a key member of Ten Hag's squad and might follow the Dutchman out the door if his present employer is appointed as United manager.

However, Louis van Gaal, United's manager from 2014 to 2016, has urged his countrymen not to take the post, stressing that the club is more of a business than a football club.
Van Gaal, who was fired by United hours after winning the FA Cup in 2016, advised his fellow Dutchman to look for work elsewhere.
