On Tuesday, the super eagles of Nigeria met with the black stars of Ghana to battle their way to the world cup qualifications. At the end, of the 90minutes, Ghana won with an away goal eliminating Nigeria from qualifying for the world cup.
This led to a very serious riot in the Abuja Abiola stadium where the Nigerians decided to attack the ghanaian spectators. They were quickly moved over to the park and tear gas was fired by security personnel to maintain calm in the stadium.
This stampede led to the death of CAF personnel is known as Dr kabungo after he slumped and fell to death. Following this unfortunate incident, FIFA has made the Nigerians pay for their bad act by banning them from hosting international matches at the Abiola stadium till further notice.
