21-year-old Chelsea winger, Callum Hudson-Odoi is reported to be seriously weighing up the possibility of switching his national allegiance to Ghana days after the Black Stars qualification to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana defeated the super eagles of Nigeria to book a place at the World's biggest football platform expected to be held in November at Qatar.
This development according to pundits is a boost for their chances to convince the Chelsea winger to join the team. His absence in the England team for two and half years and a snub for the call up to the England U-21 side proves the young lad may be considering to accept to switch nationality.
Hudson-Odoi is still eligible to make a switch because he has only made three appearances for the England national team and he has the potential of playing regularly for the Black Stars than England where there's a pool of talents for the same position.
Hudson-Odoi has dual citizenship as his former Hearts of Oak player Dad, Bismark Odoi is a native Ghanaian.
His visit to the country frequently in the past few months cements the reports of his nationality switch.
