Strasbourg and Ghanaian defender Alexander Djiku has opened up on his dreams of playing in the English Premier League.
The 27-year-old french born Ghanaian a strategic role in the Black Stars qualifying games for the World Cup between the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the two-leg game.
Djiku has been in scintillating form for his club side this season, scoring the deciding goal in the game against Giants AS Monaco.
His height and size is seen as a disadvantage despite his impressive play.
" I understand the reservations about my height as the English Premier League is a direct game, but size is only one component of winning a game", he told Sky Sports.
Alexander Djiku revealed that he has spoken to Andre Dede Ayew, Jordan Ayew and Thomas Partey who have had their time playing the English Premier League and thinks it is a spectacular league that gives one the opportunity to express yourself.
He however added that the English Premier League is one of the best Leagues in the World and it is obvious most players wants to be there one day.
Alexander Djiku also believes his 1m 82cm height is not bad for a morden central defender.
