Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah is seriously weighing up the possibility of switching his national allegiance to Ghana, per reports on Ghanaballers. The Black Stars qualified for the Mundial after they edged West African rivals Nigeria in a nail-biting World Cup play-off staged over two legs. That has boosted the chances of the West African country to convince the Gunners youngster to join them for the ride in Qatar later this year. The Ghana Football Association are hoping to secure Nketiah who currently plays for England at youth level. The 22-year-old has made 17 appearances for England U21 and has scored 16 goals. But Nketiah is still eligible to make a switch as he is more likely to play regularly for the Black Stars than for senior national team of England where there's an embarrassment of riches in his position. Born to Ghanaian parents in London, Nketiah has also played for England at the U18, U19 and U20.
