Allegri claims that even Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, must sacrifice in order to develop a winning team.

GQ quoted him as saying: "Guardiola is a fantastic coach, but have a look at what he accomplished.

Everyone starts from the bottom, therefore he bought an eighty-meter goalkeeper (Ederson).

"I mean, people are frequently deceived by things that do not exist: at the end of the day, there is a game to win.

"Not to mention the fact that there are numerous distinct games within the game," says the author

Allegri also expressed his thoughts on the status of Italian football, saying: "The issue is that the players have become guinea pigs for the coaches, but football is an art form.

"(Improvements can be done), but a poor person will not become excellent; at best, they will become less poor."
