Chelsea will not play against Real Madrid at home for the second leg of their quarter - final Champions league tie, UEFA have announced.
The defending European champions were drawn against the LaLiga glants - who are chasing a 14th European title - on Friday morning.
It was reported Chelsea's tie with the Spanish side could have been reversed as both Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid can't play at home on the same day - but the governing body have confirmed this is not the case.
The Blues were initially drawn to Madrid in the first leg before heading to the Bernabeu, but it has been reported that the second leg could take place at Stamford Bridge instead.
Indeed,Real and Atletico Madrid were drawn to play at home in the same week, which is generally forbidden in Spain.
