Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, the National Chief Imam, has received a donation from Arla Foods, the manufacturer and distributor of Dano Milk.

Cartons of Dano Cool Cow (plain milk), flavored milk, Dano coffee three in one, Dano chocolate three in one, strawberry, and boxes of Arla Foods' newest product on the market, Dano 'hy3 me ma' dairy creamer, are among the products valued at over GH10,000.

The contribution was made in the Chief Imam's palace ahead of Ramadan, which might begin on April 2 or 3, 2022, depending on the sighting of the crescent.

Wilson Agbeko, Marketing Manager of Arla Foods, who headed the team, explained that the contribution is to guarantee that Muslims have access to the necessary nutritional goods for strength throughout the fasting season.  "Every food should contain the highest amount of nutrients, and our products meet that requirement." Dano Milk has all of the nutrients that the body need to strengthen, nourish, and prepare them for the following day of fasting, as well as to carry them through the whole fast," he stated.

Apart from the contribution, Mr. Agbeko stated that they will visit chosen mosques around the country during Ramadan to serve some of their goods to Muslims.

"We're traveling to a few mosques throughout the nation to offer our products to our fasting brothers and sisters." Our objective is to assist people in eating well, and to eat properly, you need food that is delicious, pleasant, and has all of the necessary nutrients.

He went on to say that the goal of the mosque visit is to make their Dano goods more accessible to Muslims during Ramadan.

"As a result, we want to make our goods available to our Muslim brothers and sisters throughout the fast so that they may keep fed, gain strength, and get through it," he said.
