Failed Parliamentary Candidate of the Kpone Katamanso constituency and member of the communications team of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Hopeson Adorye has disclosed that he will be very outrage should the President attempts to use proceeds of the electronic transactions levy to construct roads in the 137 constituencies currently occupied by NDC MPs.
Discussing what transpired in Parliament over the week on Boiling Point on Oman FM, Hopeson Adorye indicated that the NDC MPs were clear in their minds and opposed e-levy together with their constituents and so they shouldn't benefit from the proceeds which will be used for the construction of roads.
Mr. Adorye believes that it will be unfair to use the "equal distribution of national cake" to construct roads for people who opposed the policy and deny those who stood by their MPs to defend the e-levy regardless of the insults.
He however advised the roads minister not to sign contracts of road construction in all the constituencies of the NDC.
