TWO AFRICAN COUNTRIES ASK FIFA TO ORDER REPLAY OF PLAYOFFS

Two African countries have written to the world football body,FIFA demanding replays of the 2022 world Cup qualifiers playoffs.

The two African countries are Algeria and Egypt.

Algeria have requested to FIFA that their World Cup qualifications playoff against Cameroon be replayed because of scandalous referring.Algeria lost 2–1 at home on Tuesday to the Indomitable Lions,who fought back and secured the away victory after extra time that saw them progress to Qatar on the away goals rule.

Egypt have also asked for their World Cup qualifier against Senegal to be replayed after they claimed Mohammed Salah was attacked in a strange atmosphere.

The Pharaohs headed to Dakar looking to defend a 1–0 first leg lead and qualify for the global event for the second successive to tournament following their appearance in 2018.Senegal managed to level the tie early on as Hamdi Fathi put through his own net after four minutes.
