Nana Aba Anamoah, a media personality and the General Manager of GHOne TV and Starr 103.5 FM, has pleaded with Akrobeto not to use a particular phrase on her show.
Over the course of the week, a video of UTV's program (Real News) hosted by Kumawood actor and broadcaster Akwasi Boadi, well known as Akrobeto, went viral on social media.
In the video, Akrobeto was shouting and telling Nana Aba Anamoah not to say that phrase again.
Nana Aba used the term "Hoodlums" to characterize Nigerians who used violence to protest the Super Eagles' failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.
Many Ghanaians had called Akrobeto to inquire about the meaning of the word, and he couldn't always interpret Nana Aba's words, according to him.
Finally, Nana Aba Anamoah has pleaded with Akrobeto on her Facebook page. "She remarked," she explained "I apologize for using the term 'HOODLUMS,' Uncle. Please accept my apologies."
