Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel's wife has reportedly filed for divorce. Sissi Tuchel has started legal proceedings just over a year after moving to the UK. Sissi is thought to have started the process in the hopes of reaching an amicable divorce with her husband of 13 years, with whom he has two daughters.
Tuchel and his wife were pictured on the pitch together at the 2021 Champions League Final in Porto's Estádio do Drago, with Tuchel and his wife hugging.
The couple married in 2009, with Sissi following him around Europe to glamorous locations such as Paris and London, but the marriage appears to be over now, according to a source close to the Mail on Sunday.
"Sissi and Thomas tried to avoid divorce, but there was no other option," a source said. "It's very sad, and now it's all about making sure their daughters come first." Last week, papers were filed to start the divorce process." The announcement comes after Chelsea suffered their worst defeat of the season, a 4-1 loss to Brentford at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Tuchel stated following the defeat, "After so many wins and so many good results, I will now refuse to make a drama out of it." So, why should we?
