*CERTIFIED RESULTS FROM THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION ON THE 2022 NUGS ELECTION HELD AT EJISU - ABANKRO*
The just ended 56th NUGS Congress held at the GNAT Village, Ejisu Abankro witnessed delegates(Ghanaian students) across the country go to the polls to elect nine(9) from the total 19 aspirants to serve their interest as a Union.
The outcome are as follows:
PRESIDENT
1. Oppong Charles - 33 votes = 3.13%
2. Kwesi Atuahene - 197 votes = 18.69%
3. Dennis Appiah Larbi-Ampofo - 824 votes = 78.18%
GENERAL SECRETARY
1. Aziz Azaana Imoro - 82 votes = 9.45%
2. Joshua Opey - 562 votes = 64.75%
3. Francess Gifty Ennin - 224 votes = 25.80%
SECRETARY FOR FINANCE
1. Derrick Kofi Sarpong - 417 votes = 41.61%
2. Francisca Lynn Willis - 585votes 58.38%
SECRETARY FOR EDUCATION
1. Ransford Tege - 452 votes = 52.44%
2. Asare Bediako - 410votes = 47.56%
SECRETARY FOR WOMEN DEVELOPMENT
1. Jesisca Twumasi
YES - 847 votes(99.64%)
NO - 3 votes (0.362)
SECRETARY FOR INNOVATION, ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

YES - 797 votes (97.31%)
