After leading Paris Saint-Germain to a 5-1 victory over Lorient on Sunday, Kylian Mbappe insisted there is no agreement to bring him to Real Madrid.
As Mauricio Pochettino's side maintained their 12-point lead at the top of Ligue 1, the France international scored twice and assisted the other three PSG goals, with Neymar scoring two and Lionel Messi scoring the other.
Uncertainty surrounds where Mbappe will play next season, with Real Madrid leading the charge to sign the forward, whose contract expires at the end of the current season.
Mbappe stated after the win over Lorient that a decision has yet to be made, raising the possibility that he will remain in Paris.
"No, no, no, I did not make my choice, everyone knows I did not make my choice, I did not make my decision," he explained to Prime Video.
"I believe this is because there are new elements, many things to consider, and many parameters to consider, and I don't want to be wrong; I want to make the right decision.
"I know it's a little late for the people, but we talk about it every day. If I had made my decision, I would have stated that I did not have to report to anyone. It's a personal choice; if I've made up my mind, I come, say it, and assume it.
"I believe that, in both the good and bad things that I have done, I have always assumed that I don't need to hide myself because I haven't killed anyone. It's just a choice, so I take my time and make the best decision I can."
For the first time, Neymar and Messi – the latter ending a seven-game goal drought – joined Mbappe on the scoresheet in the same game.
Brazilian star Neymar was pleased with the evening's work, with PSG showing signs of life after being knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid last month.
