Under Xavi's tutelage, the Spanish kid continues to shine
Pedri provided yet another magical moment for Barcelona on Sunday, scoring a spectacular goal against Sevilla.
The youthful Barcelona striker scored the game's lone goal in the 72nd minute to seal the victory for the Catalan club.
Pedri's goal was his fourth of the season, and it helped Barca secure three crucial points against a Sevilla team with which they are now tied on points with a game to play.
Xavi described Pedri to reporters as a "superlative player."
"He has scored a fantastic goal.
He is a force to be reckoned with.
Seeing him play is a sight to behold.
He's only 19 years old, by the way.
There is no comparison for him.
"It's a metaphysical goal."
It's sheer euphoria.
I had a sense it was about to happen.
I enjoy winning.
The team, in my opinion, deserved it.
We didn't send anyone a message.
It was sent to ourself.
We came out on top and had a great time.
The atmosphere is incredible.
And in LaLiga, we'll keep fighting as long as the math doesn't indicate otherwise."
