GHANAIANS WILL FORGET E-LEVY COME 2024

Many people have given up on the idea that the passage of the electronic transfer bill will be one of the factors in the National Democratic Congress's victory. Kwesi Pratt, speaking on the Alhaji and Alhaji show, expressed an opposing viewpoint to that of many Ghanaians. Ghanaians, he claims, will not use the e-levy as a reason to vote against the NPP. This was his justification.

"We're all looking forward to 2024. The only issue is that the election in 2024 will not be solely about the e-levy. There will be a slew of problems. The year 2024 will be all about communication. It will focus on the tangible reality that many individuals are confronted with. In 2024, the e-levy may even be abolished ", he clarified.

Opinion: On second consideration, Kwesi Pratt's prediction has a 70% chance of coming true. This is because the New Patriotic Party's prospective presidential candidate, as they did in 2020, may decide to cover it up with a relief package. The NDC's communicators, on the other hand, can choose to remind Ghanaians of the various levies, including the e-levy, that the government will have placed on them during Nana Addo's eight-year term.
