Players from Barcelona and Real Betis dominate the La Liga Xi for Matchweek 30.
In the 2021/22 La Liga season, Real Madrid, who are currently leading the table, has received the most penalties. Many doubts have been raised over why Real Madrid was handed three penalties in their previous La Liga match against Celta Vigo. Los Blancos are the only Spanish side in La Liga this season to have taken ten penalties. Barcelona, who are now in second place on the table, has three fewer penalties than Real Madrid.
The La Liga Xi Players for Matchweek 30 were dominated by Barcelona and Real Betis players. Following their tight victory over Sevilla, two Barcelona players were named to the squad. Barcelona's Ronald Araujo and Pedri were named to the list. Araujo was outstanding in defense against Sevilla's forward, while Pedri's goal gave the Catalans all three points and propelled them to second place. There are two Real Betis players on the team. The players in question are Moreno and Juanmi. In the match against Osasuna, Juanmi scored two goals and added two assists, while Moreno also scored.
After scoring a brace in Atletico Madrid's 4-1 win against Alaves, Joao Felix is the only Atletico Madrid player to make the list. Thibaut Courtois, though, is the team's only Real Madrid player. The Belgian professional was outstanding in his team's victory over the weekend. His saves helped the squad keep their lead over Celta Vigo and win by a slim margin. Catena, Luis Milla, Carvalho, Morales, and Berenguer are among the other players who made the team.
Real Betis are clearly playing their best football of the season. They now sit in fifth place in La Liga, only four points behind fourth-placed Sevilla. They might qualify for the UEFA Europa League next season if they can finish fifth this season.
