Actor Jerry Amilo shared a video with BBC Pidgin explaining how he died and seemingly resurrected on the third day -Amilo was involved in a fatal accident with a friend his lawyer and they were both believed to have died on the spot. Three days after, however, the actor rose from the dead in the mortuary where his body was kept.
Mr Amilo, in a recent interview with BBC, narrated how he survived a ghastly motor accident that claimed his lawyer’s life. He said he cheated death after surviving three days in a mortuary. "I was involved in a terrible accident,” he told the interviewer. “We all died. I was pronounced dead and taken to the morgue. But I woke up in the morgue three nights later, and I got up and walked out,” he went on to say.
I had won an award for “Best Actor” at the annual awards ceremony, I was returning home, Neither of us saw it coming. Suddenly, I spotted my front tire over the edge of the road. My car flipped us over 16 times. Mr Amilo said that his body was kept in a morgue where accident victims are usually stored. After three days, he said he started shivering as if he had a fever, but his body did not decay in the time he was there.
Doctors noticed he was still breathing and rushed him to the emergency room. His jaw was broken into three pieces, so he had to eat through a straw for several months. His face was sewn together, and it took several years before he could return to acting in movies.
