Christian Pulisic responds to transfer rumors after being called for Chelsea media duty
Christian Pulisic, a member of the United States Men's National Team, has expressed his happiness at Chelsea, despite reports linking him with a summer move to Juventus. On the eve of Chelsea's Champions League quarter-final first leg against Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, Pulisic addressed to the media in a press conference.
Despite being chosen for official media duty, it's unclear whether Pulisic will start on Wednesday.
So far this season, the 23-year-old has only started 10 of Chelsea's 29 Premier League games. The lack of regular game time has prompted speculation about Pulisic's departure, but he stated, "I'm pleased here."
"While I've been here, we've accomplished a lot. I'm having a good time with my football. Right now, I'm not concerned about it (a transfer)."
Despite the fact that Pulisic is merely a member of Chelsea's roster, he was instrumental in the USMNT's qualification for this year's World Cup in Qatar.
Pulisic's hat-trick in a 5-1 win over Panama last month was the highlight of that qualification campaign.
Following last week's World Cup draw, both the United States and England were assigned to Group B for Qatar 2022.
