Sobhi said he exhorted Salah, 29, to leave Anfield, just for the Egypt forward to say he was probably going to broaden an agreement that runs until June 2023.

Salah's representative Ramy Abbas Issa tweeted snickering emoticons in March after Klopp's past case that he was "totally fine" with progress on an arrangement.
