Sex work (Ashawo) is gradually becoming one of the fast and most profitable businesses in the world currently. However, due to its illegality in most countries, they are mostly arrested by the authorities.
A very funny video circulating online captures the moment a group of sex workers popularly known as “Ashawo” was chased by the police from their joint. The video was seen on Nigeria's number entertainment platform gossipmiltv on Instagram. In the video, one could see more than 15 of these workers fleeing from the police.
An insider revealed that the police were only able to arrest a few of them with the highest number escaping. This quickly rose conversations on social media as some users blasted the police saying it's their right and others praised the police for their good work done. The video currently has over 25k views and 3k comments.
