Erik ten Hag of Ajax is reported to be Manchester United's top priority to replace interim coach Ralf Rangnick as coach in the summer, and he may already have his own transfer targets lined up.
Ten Hag has led Ajax to remarkable success in recent years, even making them European challengers in 2019, and will now want to do the same at Old Trafford.

According to reports, the Dutch coach would make Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves his first choice addition if he joins the Red Devils.
His contract in the Midlands is up in two years, so Manchester United may believe they can get a good deal for his services.
That might lead to Neves being touted as a successor for Nemanja Matic or Paul Pogba, both of whom have questionable futures.

Ten Hag has been following Neves for years, according to The Sun, dating back to when the Portugal international joined Wolves from Porto in 2017.
Ten Hag is reported to have been following Neves when he was still a teenager in Portugal, when he was working as an assistant coach for Bayern Munich.
Manchester United was rumoured to be chasing Neves last summer, so this isn't the first time he's been associated with the player.
Neves is available for hire.
"I'm sure he'll get a proposal from us," Wolves coach Bruno Lage admitted recently. "But the way he plays, I can see other teams are looking for him as well."
"You never know what can happen; a large team could come in with a big offer, and we'd have to figure out what's best for us and the player."
What's crucial to note is that a player like him is extremely rare.
"It was once known as a defensive midfielder, but it is now known as a centre midfielder, a player that can both defend and attack. He is capable of doing both."
