Barcelona will visit Australia for the first time in club history on May 25 to play a friendly match against A-League All Stars at the Accor Stadium in Sydney.
After the LaLiga Santander season concludes, Xavi Hernandez's team will travel to Australia and return to Catalonia shortly after the game.
This exhibition game will take place just three days before the A-League final, which will determine who will be crowned champion.
Barcelona's visit also coincides with a number of notable events in Sydney that week, including the start of Vivid Sydney, one of the most important music and culture festivals held in the Australian city each year.
Barcelona will be playing a game on Australian soil for the first time in their history.
"We are very happy to be able to announce this match in Australia today against the A-League All Stars," said Juli Guiu, Barcelona's vice president of marketing.
"This will be the team's first visit to this country, where Barcelona are generating a lot of interest." Being able to play this match will allow us to bring the club and its values closer to our fans, as well as allow new audiences to get to know FC Barcelona and all that it represents, which has made it a reference entity on and off the field."
