I always try as much as I can to desist from commenting about our kingdom especially regarding Bawku but, it's at a point that every voice count and the death we are afraid of is now knocking at our doors hence the need to speak.
Following the fallout of all events that has been unfolded about a week or two ago regarding the Bawku enskinment in our overlord palace,it's clear now that there are some forces in the king's palace that's denying the whole Mamprugu of our joy just to favor one or very few individual interest which in itself is a Mirrage because they themselves are failures as far as custom and tradition is concerned .
Ladies and gentlemen growing up in Walewale around 1990s we heard over and over about the chieftaincy discrepancies in our beloved Bawku. However it's clear to every Mamprusis and many of the tribes in Mamprugu that our brothers and sisters misbehaved towards the then NAYIRI ei the father of the reigning NAYIRI and that was why successive NAYIRI'S ignored the whole process but God being so good his own son has find a way of appeasing his father and gave the go ahead for the performance of the funeral which is understandable because they might have asked for forgiveness from his father through him.
But sincerely, we all believed that if your son offend you and come back to apologized and you have taken him back, to take a full responsibility of his everything but in the case of Mamprugu today that's seem different.
Kudus to the king of Mamprugu Naa Bohagu Mahami Abdul-Lai Sheriga 11 the youth of Mamprugu will forever be grateful to you .
Reason for this write-up.
The elders and the other chiefs who vow to buried the plight of Mamprugu youth and to sacrifice Bawku for your parochial interest remember that thousands of people have died in the struggle to recapture Bawku under the Mamprugu kingdom, so if you have nothing to offer and it's that you roam,walk and think about only your personal gains to the detriment of the interest of Mamprugu then, we are watching and the ancestors are witnesses to your evil plans . Most of you know yourselves and there is no need for us to mention your names but the time is coming that even good morning will be difficult for anyone of you to record as far as the kingdom is concerned.
Furthermore, those of you who tip your political parties ahead of your own tribe although, it's surprising to many but to some of us it's not because we have much information about your working life and what you stood for when you were in a active service .
The youth of Mamprugu are now been pushed to the wall and anything should be expected anytime soon if our leaders can turn your back against Mamprugu simply because a call came from the presidency or wherever to ban u from doing the needful then I think we will advise ourselves accordingly any time soon. The four elders plus the sub-chiefs who are Nayiri's children we are very much aware of you but remember there were chiefs in those communities before you people, so ask yourselves where are those chiefs and the property they made before you sell Mamprugu for money and other personal gains. Remember the saying that 'if they mention your name and enact or abolish a law it's not good' your names are now part of our history as those denying the entire Bawku and for the matter Mamprugu at large of a legitimate chief simply because of your personal and political interest. Allah is watching but the people of Mamprugu are feeling your betrayal. Most of you keep mentioning the happening in Dagbon where the Abudu's took advantage and spoiled Alhaji Aliu Mahama's political ambition who told you that was the reason why he lost the primaries ? Are u by this telling us that Dr will lose elections simply because Bawku Naaba is enskind? Is the NAYIRI coming to behead someone to enskind Bawku Naaba? Please your argument doesn't add up so give us a break for you are endangering your man the more.
What's the purpose of political power on this earth? Why don't you think of providing security I mean enough security for the enskinment but rather you are negative about it , so are you also okay to be told that it was the time of your man that Mamprusis were betrayed simply because of your stomaches ?
And to the three chiefs of Mamprugu who understand the feelings of the youth and are with us all the time we pray that all your will be granted by Allah and our ancestors, I list you in order of merit ( Kpaa'naaba Zambulg-Naaba and Bunkpurugu naaba ) we are most grateful and we shall be there for you anytime you need us. At least you have showed that there is still chiefs with integrity in Mamprugu not all can be bought. Even though there are some I can't mention your names the three represent you all. And to those of you who think life is all about your stomaches this is an opportunity to redeem yourselves and make the enskinment be done to at least show that you have regretted your actions .
To the youth of Mamprugu be hopeful that what we prayed for will be given to us by our overlord amidst all deceptions and manipulations . To Nayiri's children I beg to say the KING has overcome all odds to make history and instead of you to support him do that you are following politicians lies and deceptions that is going to disgrace the entire Mamprugu ? It's over to you as I said I won't mention your names now but if nothing is done about the whole thing I will come out with your names and provide evidences why I'm saying that , to the four famous elders who are currently holding Mamprugu at Ransome you will pay by your own sweat the pain you are causing us today . If the only thing that u will do with power is to destroy and amass wealth for yourselves we are watching your end.
To the political leaders of Mamprugu your names have popped up in their dealings and it's as it were that,you are the brain behind everything and we the youth are watching , no body was willing to die for you in the whole Walewale constituency more than some of us but today ask yourself how many will be willing to follow you when you come home ? A word to the wise is enough .
Even though you have succeeded in bringing pain and agony to the people of Mamprugu not only Bawku but be reminded that your gains you will amass from this pain you inflicted on us will never be enjoyed in peace because you have exchange souls for money and political faithfulness. Though some of us are young men but we know that Mamprugu has been sink in to the ditch by some few personality who unfortunately found themselves in to the decision taken table of the kingdom but we believe our ancestors will make a way since Allah himself is a just being .
Enjoy your goodies and allow the youth of Mamprugu suffer in pain but don't die.
In order not to prolong my article I will stop here even though I have a lot to talk about but surely I will be back .
