American based Ghanaian loudmouth journalist, Kevin Ekow Baidoo Taylor has said the NDC risk loosing the 2024 elections if they fail to call the minority chief whip to order.
Speaking on his with all due respect show aired on loudsilence TV, the journalist however cautioned the constituents of Asawase.
It will be recalled that the Speaker referred three Members of Parliament to the privileges committee for continuosly absenting themselves. Sarah Adwoa Safo, Henry Quartey and Kennedy Agyapong have been referred to the privileges committee of the house for breaching the standing orders of the house and constitution.
However, Muntaka Mubarak, MP for Asawase constituency disagreed with the Speaker and called it a unilateral decision of the Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin.
He avers this precedent been set by the Speaker is dangerous because any "dictator Speaker" will use it as a tool to hurt MPs.
Reacting to the issue, Kevin Taylor said " I don't understand what Muntaka Mubarak is doing. Going contrary to the rules has no other option than the laws to be applied. Kennedy Agyapong, Sarah Adwoa Safo and Henry Quartey must be kicked out of Parliament base on absenteeism. But Muntaka to stand against such a decision is very bad. NDC cannot win 2024 elections because of Muntaka. Those in his constituency must vote against him in 2024 because NDC will still be in opposition because of his Attitude".
