Sergino Dest is being offered by Barcelona as part of a deal to sign Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

The Spanish giants are desperate to recruit a big-name player this summer, and speculations say that the Polish superstar would be interested in a move to the Nou Camp.

Lewandowski is regarded as one of the top attackers in the world, having scored 45 goals in 38 games this season across all competitions.

According to the Spanish daily Sport, Lewandowski "would do everything" to join Barcelona, and the Spanish club has identified a viable answer in Dest.

Bayern Munich are interested in signing the American right-back, and Barcelona may be able to use him in a swap deal.

Bayern Munich has a deal with Lewandowski until 2023, and he is thought to be worth roughly £54 million.

The 33-year-old is in his ninth season at Bayern Munich, having made 367 games and scoring 339 goals.

However, according to the Mirror, if they are unable to sign Lewandowski, Barcelona may turn to Alexandre Lacazette. The Arsenal striker's contract expires in three months, and a move to the Nou Camp would bring him back together with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang left Arsenal by mutual consent in January and has made an impressive start at Barcelona, scoring nine goals in 12 matches.

According to reports, Lewandowski is behind Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund and Mo Salah of Liverpool in the Barcelona pecking order. 'He would have to indicate his willingness to come to Barça and, for the time being, he hasn't,' Barcelona president Joan Laporta said of Haaland on radio station RAC 1. Either they adjust to the circumstances or I see it to be a long distance away.'

Salah's transfer is also described as'very complex,' with rumours in recent days suggesting he could sign a new contract with Liverpool.

Barcelona's finances are still thought to be precarious, and it's unknown whether they'll be able to afford Salah this summer, even though he'll be out of contract next year. Laporta, who is frequently optimistic about the club's financial strength, has conceded that the club's negative net worth and losses must be reduced.
