Wolverhampton Wanderers will be hoping to end a 30-year streak when they face Newcastle United in the Premier League on Friday night.

Wolves have won three of their last four games in the Premier League, keeping them in contention for a place in Europe, while West Ham United has dropped two places to sixth.

Moving into that position will be their first concern when they take to the pitch at St James' Park, and Bruno Lage's side will get an opportunity to record a twofold over the Magpies on this mission.

Should the Wolves win in the North-East, it will address the initial time starting around 1991-92 when they crushed Newcastle both home and away.

Furthermore, the West Midlands outfit would be completing a 68-year wait for such an event in the first class, with the last twofold in the main level occurring in 1953-54.

During that game, Hwang Hee-chan scored two of his five Premier League goals for the season.
