Rev Obofour, the creator and head of Anointed Palace Chapel, has spoken out in response to recent speculations that he is marrying a second wife.
The winner of Ghana's Most Beautiful 2014, Abigail Baci-Ara Bentie, married a few days ago.
After a few hours, reports started circulating that the guy she married was none other than Rev Obofour, one of the country's wealthiest pastors.
The preacher stated unequivocally to Ghpage TV that he is not acquainted with the lady in question. He was in his office, according to him, when his wife texted him a screenshot of some of the reports, which surprised him.
He went on to explain that several members of his church had sent him text messages and WhatsApp voice messages expressing their displeasure with the viral story.
Rev. Obofour made it clear that the story was a plan by his detractors to ensure that his marriage would fail, just as they had done with his church.
