When Jordan Ayew made a visit to Ghana's President, Nana Akufo-Addo, in London, he presented him with a framed and autographed Crystal Palace jersey.

The Black Stars attacker made the gesture only hours after scoring his second goal of the season for the Eagles in their 3-0 Premier League victory over Arsenal on Monday.

The two met and had a lengthy talk, according to sources, with the lanky striker handing his jersey to the President in a lovely frame. Ayew, 30, has two goals and three assists in 26 appearances this season in the 2021/22 Premier League.

After encouraging Nigeria in the playoffs, he played a significant part in Ghana's comeback to the World Cup.

The Black Stars will begin their FIFA World Cup campaign on November 24th in Qatar, where they will compete in Group H against Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.
