Some Menzgold consumers have threatened to remove their support for Nana Appiah Mensah, the company's Chief Executive Officer.

In a letter to the Attorney General in response to the latest adjournment of the case, the consumers claimed they may be forced to write to the court to have their data expunged from the ongoing trial due to a "lackadaisical attitude."

Despite the deaths of several of their cohorts, the customers regarded the adjournments as "incessant, purposeful, and man-made."

"Perhaps the government is unconcerned with the MenzGold Customers dying, and the prosecution's move confirms our opinion," they believe. They also stated that civil actions are preferable than continuous criminal prosecution.

Customers anticipate that this will be a more practical method of "retrieving and paying the customers."

"We believe that after three years of criminal prosecution at this early point, it should be evident to you and everyone that there is no chance." We implore you to take immediate action in response to our legal remedy request."

Nana Appiah Mensah, commonly known as NAM 1, is charged with 63 charges of money laundering, theft, and unauthorized deposit taking.

In July 2019, the Circuit Court granted him bail in the amount of GH1 billion. He had pled not guilty to all of the State's first accusations against him.
