The CEO of the 3music awards Baba Sadiq has received applause after he defended Sarkodie on a social media user who tried bashing him for not showing up to perform at the just ended 3music awards. The award show had massive plans for Sarkodieie but unfortunately, he couldn't make it and Black sheriff rocked the stage with artificial rain pouring on him which made the event widely spreading.
In a Facebook post, a Facebook user replied to a congratulatory message by saying “someone was allowed to perform at a show and he thinks he is a bigger artist so he was bluffing. Good thing we equally have good talent who are ready to rise to the occasion”.
Baba Sadiq upon seeing this quickly addresses the issue by saying “No he wasn't just available but we are good, he is my guy, we working on something for the future, he is more forward-looking and supportive than people see him, marking my time will pitch to produce”. He added.
Sarkodie has been receiving backlashes for not showing up at the awards show, but the CEO of the award scheme after the awards explained that Sarkodie told him at the planning of the event that, he won't be available and that he was fully aware.
