Kassim Alhasan, the Welfare Secretary for the Circle Neoplan station in Greater Accra, has declared that the Metropolitan Assembly has granted the facility manager who sells tickets to drivers permission to maintain the station clean.

According to him, the drivers have threatened to stop paying the tow fee because of the station's yard's mismanagement.

He told Adom News that because of the authority granted to them by the Assembly, it is their responsibility to maintain the station clean.

However, the station is enveloped in a mountain of trash, prohibiting people from using it.

This, he claimed, is having a significant impact on their job, particularly for visitors who crowd the station.

He bemoaned the fact that the Assembly has made no attempt to check the station to see if it is maintained clean or not since entrusting it to the faculty Manager's care.
