Chelsea suffered from an upset at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday's afternoon and it was one the blues would erase from memories as they were humiliated to a defeat by Brentford.

Antonio Rudiger was able to break the deadlock with a long range screamer from outside the box after a goalless first half. But this prompted a response from the bees who made a complete comeback by scoring four goals against the current European Champions. The goal scorers for Brentford ; Janelt, Eriksen, and Wissa.

Thomas Tuchel acknowledged that it was a tough start for his side after the international break and his players were not able to control the ball in the early minutes of the game and did not defend after taking the lead. This made Brentford score three goals in ten minutes and deserved the win.

Chelsea's captain, expressed his belief in the team and that the team has to restart again and compete in the three competitions available. He admitted it was a difficult result and they have to be together in this moment and show a great mentality to continue working hard. This is the second time Chelsea have lost by three goals or more in a premier league game derby at the Stanford bridge since a defeat to Arsenal in April 1997.
