Thomas Tuchel has given his Chelsea players a dressing down for their exhibitions against Real Madrid and Brentford.

The European heroes were pounded 4-1 by London rivals Brentford last the end of the prior week Madrid everything except finished their expectations of shielding their Champions League crown with a 3-1 win at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

Tuchel has been confused by the protective presentations which have seen them transport seven objectives in two games, with the Blues typically so powerful at the back under the German.

In front of Saturday's visit to Southampton, the previous Paris Saint-Germain supervisor pulled his players in for a gathering at their Cobham preparing the ground on Thursday to vent his dissatisfactions.

"It was anything but a conversation meeting yesterday… It was more [one where] I gave my perspective," said Tuchel.

"This is once in a while vital. We approach the players' perspectives extremely in a serious way and frequently into account yet throughout the last two games, we thought giving our perspective is essential.

"Away from plain view, in an air where everyone can take analysis. I feel engaged with an improvement like this. We don't point fingers and search for individuals that are blameworthy. We are in the same boat. We expected to bring up certain focuses in our game where we are despondent and might have protected better."

Gotten some information about the unexpected protective frailties, Tuchel said: "It is disliked us to shield like this and yield such countless objectives.

"That is the reason we didn't see it coming since it was not the situation before the public break. These two matches in no less than five days are extremely untypical and difficult to manage on the grounds that it doesn't squeeze into an example.

"We continually attempt to sort out how we can get to the next level. We want to stop this sort of course and advancement at the earliest opportunity. The best chance is tomorrow [against Southampton]."
