Interim Black Stars coach Otto Addo believes his team can beat any opponent if they stay united ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana, a four-time African champion, returned to the global showpiece after a 1-1 tie with Nigeria in the playoff games.
Following the draw last month, the Black Stars are in Group H with familiar opponents Portugal and Uruguay, as well as South Korea. With less than seven months until the start of the World Cup in the Arab country, the 46-year-old believes his team can beat any team.
"If we're at 100 percent, we can beat anyone," said the former Ghana international winger, who played for the Black Stars in the 2006 World Cup.
"I think it's difficult, and I haven't really looked at the group critically," he added, "but in football, everything is possible than in cup games because there are big teams in the group. Ghana will kick off their campaign against Portugal on November 24 at Doha's Stadium 974.
Four days later, the Black Stars return to action against South Korea at Al Rayyan's Education City Stadium. Ghana will conclude their group stage campaign with a highly anticipated match against Uruguay at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah.The Black Stars, who exited the group stage in Brazil in 2014 after failing to play in the previous edition hosted in Russia in 2018, will be hoping to improve their performance in Qatar.
