Thieves and armed robbers attack their victims using varied tactics. Armed robbers, in particular, wield guns and are not afraid to fire shots at their victims. At Fijai in the Western Region's Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis, a robber was apprehended and lynched.

Nana Kojo Dua, a twenty-four-year-old man who died recently, used a unique technique to carry out his actions. According to some residents who reported the incident on Beanana-monitored Takoradi-based Connect FM, the dead has been dressed himself as a Roman parent to fool people who don't even know who he is.

He is accused of committing a robbery in which he disguised himself as a Catholic priest and stole another Catholic priest's vehicle. The vehicle's location has yet to be determined. Members of the community had been on the lookout for him and hoped to catch him off guard. He attempted a robbery in the early hours of Wednesday, April 6, 2022, but failed.

The enraged mob pursued him and caught him in the middle of a fight, thrashing him mercilessly. Nana Kwaku Dua, also known as Power, was unable to withstand the abuse and succumbed to his injuries. Later, the enraged mob deposited his lifeless body at his mother's house, leaving the scene unidentified.

Ramatu Ibrahim, a member of the Fijai Electoral Area Assembly, says she was alerted of the tragic incident and raced to the deceased's home. She observed his lifeless body lying in a pool of blood, according to her. She has subsequently alerted the police, who have been tasked with transporting the deceased to the mortuary for an autopsy and further investigation.
