The dates for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying group stages, the 2023 CHAN tournament, and the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations have been confirmed by CAF.The 2023 AFCON group stages draw will take place on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in Johannesburg, South Africa.The qualifiers for next year's tournament in Cote d'Ivoire will begin in June of current year.Morocco will host Africa's main women's competition, the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, in July 2022, with the draw taking place in Morocco on April 25, 2022.The CHAN qualifiers for 2023 will begin in July 2022. The qualifiers' official draw will take place on April 28, 2022.

The Organising Committee accepted changes to the June 2022 window for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification calendar.
