Real Madrid vs. Getafe - Preview , available players, prediction, missing players, team news, lineups, kick - off time
When Real Madrid hosts Getafe at the Bernabeu on Saturday night, they will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the La Liga table.
Los Blancos are currently top of the table, 12 points ahead of second-placed Barcelona, with eight games remaining, while Getafe are 14th, six points clear of the relegation zone.
Team Updates
Real Madrid defender Eder Militao has been cleared to play despite picking up a knock against Chelsea, but the Brazilian is suspended for the second leg against the Blues next week, so Ancelotti may opt for Nacho here, as the Spaniard is likely to be required for the quarter-final second leg.
Eden Hazard, Isco, and Luka Jovic are all out due to injuries, but the league leaders have no other worries heading into the game against Getafe.
Ancelotti is expected to resist the temptation to make wholesale changes from Wednesday night's game, but Lucas Vazquez, Nacho, Eduardo Camavinga, and Marco Asensio could all make their debuts, with Luka Modric and Toni Kroos potentially resting ahead of the second leg against Chelsea.
Getafe's Sabit Abdulai is still out with a knee injury, while Mauro Arambarri is suspended and will be unable to play this weekend.
Jaime Mata, on the other hand, could return from injury, and Jorge Cuenca and Jakub Jankto are both back in the lineup after suspensions.
Enes Unal and Sandro Ramirez are likely to feature as the front two in a 3-5-2 formation, and In Arambarri's absence, Gonzalo Villar could start in central midfield.
Real Madrid possible starting lineup:
Courtois; Vazquez, Nacho, Alaba, Mendy; Valverde, Casemiro, Camavinga; Asensio, Benzema, Vinicius
Getafe possible starting lineup:
Soria; Dakonam, Cuenca, Mitrovic; Suarez, Alena, Villar, Maksimovic, Olivera; Unal, Sandro
