Ralf Rangnick, the manager of Manchester United, believes his team didn't get enough out of the first 25 minutes of their Premier League match against Everton on Saturday and couldn't find a way to score after the Toffees scored.

Everton's Anthony Gordon scored the game's sole goal in the 27th minute, and Rangnick claims United was simply playing catch-up after that.

"I think we had enough confidence whenever we scored the first goal, even in the past, and we won the majority of those games."

We have to confess that once you conceded the first goal, we lost a little bit of our composure and stride.

Perhaps a smidgeon of our self-assurance as well.

Finally, if you don't score against Everton, and all due respect to Everton; they have a good team, but if you don't score against a team that conceded three goals against Burnley, you can't expect to win.
