Chelsea gave a vehement reaction to consecutive losses as they tore through Southampton on Saturday.
The Blues were four ahead after 30 minutes as Saints collapsed with Marcos Alonso, Mason Mount, Timo Werner, and Kai Havertz generally getting on the scoresheet before the hosts had even turned up.
Werner and Mount both got support for themselves after the break as Chelsea kept on heaping the wretchedness on Southampton.
This is the way Jack Rosser appraised the Blues…
Edouard Mendy 7
Made a sublime last part save from Che Adams. Had very little else to do.
Andreas Christensen 7
To a great extent untroubled by the Southampton advances, made ready.
Thiago Silva 7
Might have gone through the early evening time sunbathing for every one of the dangers that Southampton presented.
Antonio Rudiger 7
Recuperated from a dodgy pass almost immediately and handily contained any uncommon invasion forward from the Saints.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek 8
Worked out of position at conservative back yet was a genuine danger in the primary half.
N'Golo Kante 8
Overwhelmed midfield and hoped to push forward whenever the situation allows - set up in a decent way in the development to the fifth objective.
Mateo Kovacic 7
Faster to everything in midfield and was sharp in getting the ball up to the forward line.
Marcos Alonso 8
Heavenly completion through the legs of Fraser Forster to start the ball rolling almost immediately.
Artisan Mount 9
A magnificent move to set up Alonso, a phenomenal first objective and was speediest to the ball while getting his second. Fine execution.
Kai Havertz 7
Harassed the Southampton safeguards and was perfectly located brilliantly to take his objective.
Timo Werner 8
Could presumably have had more than his two having hit the woodwork multiple times. Southampton protectors couldn't deal with his speed.
Substitutes
Christian Pulisic 7
Energetic in the development to Mount's subsequent objective.
Reece James 7
Opened into the back three well subsequent to supplanting Silva.
Hakim Ziyech 6
Gave the Southampton guard something to ponder however had little effect.
