LEGON STUDENT ARRESTED FOR STEALING GH¢100,000 FROM CHURCH

Pupil at Legon, Jessica Ansah reportedly took around GH ¢ from the church to pay for effects like a trip to Dubai and shopping sprees. 

 

 LEGON Pupil — A Legon pupil is headed to police guardianship after admitting that she stole further than GH ¢ from a church, in Accra West Legon La bawaleshie. 

The Lady, linked as Jessica Ansah, has contended shamefaced to theft and misutilization of fiduciary property from Christ The King Fellowship. 

 

 Ansah was an fiscal adjunct and had worked for the church for 3 times, Church elder says. She was in charge of two of the church’s bank accounts. 

“ In 2021, Christ The King Fellowship Executive Committee conducted a review of fiscal reports and charges. Ansah delayed turning over fiscal records and it wasn't until the church attained the records from the bank that it was discovered that Ansah had been taking plutocrat from them as far back as 2019,” the report says. 

 

 In all, Ansah reportedly took around GH ¢ from the church to pay for effects like a trip to Dubai, shopping sprees, eatery dining, fast food, particular loan payments and particular cell phone payments. 

Ansah had no felonious history and she was doomed to seven times in captivity. She's presently awaiting transfer from the police guardianship to the nsawam captivity. 

 

 “ Members give to their church with the stylish of intentions. In this case, the plutocrat that was meant to be used by the church was rather funding this defendant’s life,” said Church elder. 

Ansah Jessica will be transfered to jail on the 11th April, 2022 to spend seven times in captivity.
