Barcelona has the chance to sign two Brazilian youth sensations if they are willing to match their price tags, according to a report from SPORT.

The Catalans, who have a solid scouting network in Brazil, appear to have first dibs on Kaiky and Angelo, two Santos youngsters.

Kaiky, not to be confused with his Manchester City teammate of the same name, is a Santos centre-back who made his debut in the Brazilian top flight in 2021, making 15 appearances in Serie A.

With a height of 1.86m, the teenager has established a solid reputation for his commanding presence in the backfield. And, despite being only 18, he has already demonstrated incredible maturity and aggression, effectively becoming a crucial member of Santos' defensive unit with nearly 50 competitive appearances.

Kaiky is estimated to be worth €20 million. Barcelona can sign him in the summer if they want to match the price, but it is unlikely given the club's preference for proven players like Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger.

Angelo Gabriel is another player that has been offered to Barça. He's a dangerous winger who was promoted to the senior team at the start of the season.

Santos has used the forward in 62 competitive outings since then. Despite being a year Kaiky's junior, the attacker has more experience than his teammate and is thus valued at €35 million.

Although Angelo's score of two goals and two assists in 62 games isn't particularly impressive, it should be noted that the attacker has only started one of those games.

Nonetheless, Barcelona is unlikely to spend such a significant sum on a very inexperienced 17-year-old player who is unfamiliar with the club's style of play.

The same can be said about Kaiky, with Joan Laporta and co. far more likely to spend the money on lucrative contracts for various free agents available across Europe this summer in order to assemble a super-team capable of competing in the Champions League next season.
