Lynx Entertainment signee and reigning artist of the year Kidi revealed in an interview how most of his hit songs were supposed to get bigger features which didn't even happen and yet the songs were still big. He was saying this to empower the young and upcoming musicians and the youth as a whole never to wait for a perfect time because the perfect time is now. He further added that his hit songs odo, say you love me, and say cheese were all scheduled to have bigger collaborations but it never happened.
Speaking in an interview on Showbiz A-Z he revealed as an up-and-coming do not let musicians refusing your features be a holding block to your shine, move towards your goal regardless.
"Don’t wait for anybody to give you handouts. Churn your path. Do it and now it will attract all those people you’re trying to get into your space.”
