CELEBRITY STATUS;
Celebrities are idolized in today's society. They tell us everything about their lives, including inane details like what they put on their hot dogs and when their cat is depressed. It's completely absurd!
Celebrity excesses are paraded in front of our eyes in magazines, movies, and on television. It's appalling how many of these people are held up as role models by the media.
Some people have made very little contribution to the world. Being a "famous" is the only attribute, the only defining "quality" that some people possess. And children aspire to be like them as they grow up! What a tragedy.
If you want fame, fortune, and glory in this life, you should take advantage of them while you still can, because they won't last: you can't take them with you!
However, if you have lived unselfishly for others on Earth, you will be remembered in God's eternal kingdom.
You'll be a celebrity there!
