Two Akatsi Youth Reported Dead In A Clash With The Police: Following a battle between the police and the town's youth on Sunday morning, two people were reported killed in Akatsi, in the Volta region of Ghana.
According to Starr News sources, the town's youth were rioting in protest over another young man's death, which they believed was caused by police brutality during a recent arrest.
However, reports indicate that during this morning's rampage, another young man was shot and he died on the spot.
This event occurred only two weeks after the burial of Etornam, who died in a similar manner last year.
The Ghana Police Service's Volta Regional Command has since sent extra men to the town, amid fears of a possible retaliation from the young as tensions remain high.
