Jessica Ansah, a Legon University student, is accused of stealing GH100,000 from the church to fund trips to Dubai and shopping sprees.
A LEGON STUDENT has been sentenced to police prison after admitting to stealing over GH100,000 from a church in Accra's West Legon La bawaleshie.
The Lady, Jessica Ansah, pleaded guilty to stealing and misusing Christ The King Fellowship's fiduciary property.
Ansah had been a finance assistant for the church for three years, according to a Church elder. She oversaw two of the church's bank accounts.

Ansah is accused of stealing GH100,000 from the church to fund a trip to Dubai, shopping sprees, restaurant meals, fast food, personal loan payments, and personal cell phone payments, among other things.
Ansah was sentenced to seven years in prison despite having no past criminal record. She is currently being taken in police custody and will be transferred to the nsawam jail soon.
