2022 World Cup: Ken Agyapong characterizes non-assuming part for Asamoah Gyan
Asamoah Gyan merits non-assuming part in Black Stars group
Ghana drawn against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea
Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, has expressed that previous Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan and other old players merit non-assuming parts in the group that will make a beeline for Qatar for the 2022 World Cup in the not so distant future.
As indicated by Agyapong, despite the fact that age was not on Gyan (who he says is his old buddy), the record objective scorer for the Black Stars will be a decent wellspring of inspiration for the playing body.
Requested on the April 7 version from Happy FM's Epa Hoa Daben program about the chance of Gyan's incorporation in the Black Stars group for the 2022 World Cup, he said: "He is an elderly person, he is an elderly person… yet he can spur the group.
"His presence alone will have an effect, so when they are going and they send old players along to propel them, it tends to be a gamechanger.
"So the job of old players like Asamoah Gyan can't be limited, they should be shipped off help the resolve of the youthful ones. Yet, structure what I saw from the games against Nigeria, we can go the distance," he added.
Gyan has been to three World Cups - 2006, 2010 and 2014 - and has scored in every one of the excursions. He as of late finished paperwork for neighborhood side Legon Cities, yet the experience everything except finished as quick as it took off.
The Black Stars crushed Nigeria more than two-legs toward the end of last month after they got a one-all attract Abuja to qualify in front of the Super Eagles for the World Cup.
A video as of late surfaced in which Gyan was seen going through some preparation schedules. It started bits of gossip that he was liking a spot in the group that would go to Qatar.
