Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, has expressed that previous Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan and other old players merit non-assuming parts in the group that will make a beeline for Qatar for the 2022 World Cup in the not so distant future.
As indicated by Agyapong, despite the fact that age was not on Gyan (who he says is his old buddy), the record objective scorer for the Black Stars will be a decent wellspring of inspiration for the playing body.
Requested on the April 7 version from Happy FM's Epa Hoa Daben program about the chance of Gyan's incorporation in the Black Stars group for the 2022 World Cup, he said: "He is an elderly person, he is an elderly person… yet he can spur the group.

"So the job of old players like Asamoah Gyan can't be limited, they should be shipped off help the resolve of the youthful ones. Yet, structure what I saw from the games against Nigeria, we can go the distance," he added.
