Cristiano Ronaldo is being investigated by the FA for smashing a young Everton fan's phone, after the 0-1 loss on Saturday 9th May 2022.
A representative from the FA told the athletic, "We are aware of the incident and will be seeking observations on the matter from both clubs and the player involved.
As per the mirror, Ronaldo could be the subject of some punishment from the FA for his actions.
The mother of the 14year old fan has slammed Ronaldo for what he did, claiming that it left him bruised and upset.
But the Portuguese international released an apology on his Instagram page. He wrote
"It is never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments such as the one we are facing. Nevertheless, we always have to be respectful, patient, and set the example for all youngsters who love the beautiful game. I would like to apologise for my outburst, and if possible I would like to invite this supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford as a sign of fair-play and sportsmanship."
