According to reports Ajax Boss Erik Ten Hag is now the number one candidate to become Manchester United's next permanent manager, with the final details of his contract being worked on behind the scenes.
It has been reported that the chairman want certain assurances before he commit to the Red devils who have slipped to seventh in the premier League, and Neville is concerned that van De Beek could influence his final decision.
