As bid details are leaked, Roman Abramovich is attempting to buy La Liga giants

According to a rival bidder in the process, Roman Abramovich will try to buy Valencia in Spain once the sale of Chelsea is completed.

Abramovich confirmed he was selling Chelsea, but there is now speculation that he may re-enter football in the hope of purchasing Valencia, according to reports that Singaporean businessman Peter Lim has put the club up for sale. According to Miguel Zorio, a competing bidder for Los Che.

The Blues are desperate to find a new owner in the midst of a budget crisis, with their funds dictated by the British government in the aftermath of the UK sanctions imposed on Abramovich due to his ties to Russia.

The EU then imposed sanctions on him, which means that any of his assets on EU territory could be taken and frozen.

As a result of the UK government's sanctions on Abramovich's assets, the London club is desperate to find new ownership as soon as possible.

Barclays has also suspended the club's bank account, and the club may face financial difficulties between now and the summer as a result of the precarious situation.

Zorio has now stated that he will make his attempt to purchase shares in the Spanish team from Lim official this month. Valencia have fallen into financial ruin under their absentee owner and are now a mid-table club in La Liga, having sold a number of players.

Zorio has now claimed that Lim tried to sell the club to Abramovich and has accused the Valencia owner of leaking the news to the media. According to Zorio, the Russian oligarch is the other potential buyer of the club.

According to a letter from Zorio, "Peter Lim has tried to sell the club in London for €250 million and has not succeeded." He recently leaked to international media that he has two purchase offers, one from me and one from a Russian oligarch from Chelsea. And from there, I tell him that either he puts €50 million in each year to compensate for the losses he causes, or he sells to us. Regardless of whether he likes it or not."

Unhappy Valencia fans have protested against their club’s ownership in recent years and have accused them of asset-stripping the club in anticipation of a future sale.
